What you will do

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the bookkeeping team regarding daily accounting inquiries.
• Review and verify bookkeeping work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards.
• Provide guidance on complex transactions, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while recommending corrective actions.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
• Collaborate with management to ensure client deadlines and expectations are consistently met.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting best practices.
• Proven experience in reviewing the work of others or mentoring junior staff.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Nice to have

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
