What you will do

• Lead the design and execution of interconnect solutions from architecture through to mass production.
• Develop and refine production tooling while monitoring manufacturing processes for quality and cost.
• Interface directly with global suppliers to ensure efficient design execution.
• Perform root cause and failure analysis on components and products to ensure reliability.
• Optimize complex electrical harness designs, schematics, and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Identify and implement design improvements for assembly, cost, and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of industry experience, including 3 years in Cable Harness or Interconnect design.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding, CNC machining, and mass production processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Zuken and NX preferred) and GD&T.
• Experience with regulatory standards such as USCAR, IEC, and IPC.
• Understanding of thermal design, material selection, and electrical contact physics.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-power system design (up to 1kV and 500A).
• Background in designing ruggedized outdoor electromechanical products with IP protection.
• Advanced skills in failure analysis and root cause investigations.
