Senior Counsel (Legal): Managing high-exposure general liability cases and insurance coverage matters with an accent on trial advocacy and strategic defense. Focus on leading litigation teams, handling complex court appearances, and delivering exceptional results for clients in a fast-paced defense environment.
Location: Must have an active bar license in the State of California. Remote, hybrid, or onsite options available.
Salary: $160,000–$190,000 USD annually, plus performance bonuses.

What you will do
- Develop compelling case themes and defense strategies to counter plaintiff arguments.
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys within the firm.
- Maintain routine communications and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients.
- Collaborate with attorneys across all experience levels to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar license in the State of California.
- 8+ years of litigation experience, specifically in general liability insurance defense and coverage matters.
- Proven ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
- Strong proficiency in MS Suite and time management systems.
