Senior Counsel (Legal)

Location: Must have an active bar license in the State of California. Remote, hybrid, or onsite options available.

Salary: $160,000–$190,000 USD annually, plus performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Develop compelling case themes and defense strategies to counter plaintiff arguments.
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior attorneys within the firm.
• Maintain routine communications and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients.
• Collaborate with attorneys across all experience levels to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar license in the State of California.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, specifically in general liability insurance defense and coverage matters.
• Proven ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
• Strong proficiency in MS Suite and time management systems.
