What you will do

• Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build rapid prototypes and proofs-of-concept for new product ideas.
• Create intuitive, responsive UIs optimized for small-screen devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, backend, and embedded engineers.
• Translate product requirements into functional and scalable mobile solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience building and deploying Android apps end-to-end.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and MVP development.
• Strong focus on UI/UX for constrained or small displays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with edge devices, embedded systems, or connected products.
• Understanding of Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Experience working in an engineering services or consulting environment.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and data handling.
