What you will do

• Lead and influence a global cross-functional team across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Planning.
• Own the demand forecasting process: generate consumption forecasts using statistical models and run the monthly Consensus Demand Planning cycle.
• Build demand-volume budgets (lanes) to support Supply Chain planning and Business planning.
• Analyze market intelligence and manage reconciliation between top-down and bottom-up forecasts (systems/lanes/kits, velocities, base vs incremental volumes).
• Deliver MAPE and bias targets and drive ownership of supply chain metrics including logistics costs, manufacturing costs, net working capital, customer service levels, and SLOB.
• Lead assumption-driven new item forecasting with post-launch tracking and evolve demand planning strategy with change management initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years in demand planning in a capital-intensive subscription software environment, including 3+ years in leadership positions (preferably automotive or high-tech).
• Deep understanding of sales forecasting, demand planning systems, and S&OP/S&OE processes; advanced knowledge of ERP demand planning software configuration and use.
• Proven ability to learn new systems quickly; advanced analytics skills including data mining and engineering/visualization.
• Track record of long-term planning (12+ month horizons) and managing performance via data-driven KPIs.
• Exceptional communication skills to influence senior management and cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
• Readiness to travel up to 10% to customer installation sites, distribution centers, and manufacturing sites.

Nice to have

• APICS, Lean Six Sigma, CPIM/CSCP, and/or IBF CPF; experience implementing lean principles in demand planning.
• Experience with large-scale change management projects (preferably in Planning).
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with BI applications; familiarity with CPFR tools and approaches (supplier portals, EDI, collaborative planning/forecasting/replenishment).
• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering solutions.

Salary: $120,000-$140,000 annual base
