What you will do

• Operate combined cycle generating facilities and power plant equipment via control room interfaces or locally.
• Maintain detailed records, logs, and document maintenance actions through work notifications.
• Coordinate and direct the work of shift operations, crafts, and contracting crews.
• Manage electrical and mechanical isolation using lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with external entities including Commercial Operations, NStar, and ISO.
• Assist in developing and implementing facility operating procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
• Active Massachusetts Second Class Engineer's License.
• Active Massachusetts Grade 2 Industrial Wastewater Treatment License.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience operating gas/steam turbines, generators, and high-pressure boilers.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the relationship between plant operations and energy markets.
• Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
