Structural Field Engineer (Power Generation)

Location: Onsite in Corpus Christi, Texas

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance and interpretation of design drawings and specifications to subcontractors and craft teams.
• Resolve field issues related to design information, material deliveries, schedule, and safety.
• Manage, track, and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) while maintaining detailed project records.
• Support the execution and installation of combined cycle systems, including turbine generators and heat recovery systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and commissioning teams to resolve field constraints and ensure turnover readiness.
• Assist the Field Quality Manager with onsite inspections and test verifications.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Corpus Christi, Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 6+ years of construction management experience in similar facility construction.
• PE license or a combination of 4 years design experience and 6+ years construction experience.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Specific experience in structural field engineering for combined cycle power plants.
• Familiarity with combustion turbine generators and heat recovery steam generators.
• Proficiency in completing material takeoffs and field quantity reviews.
