What you will do

• Develop and maintain testable system and subsystem requirements for physiologic monitoring technologies.
• Translate user and clinical needs into system architectures through cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage end-to-end requirements traceability from user needs through design, implementation, and verification.
• Lead risk management activities including hazard analysis, FMEA/FMECA, and mitigation linkage.
• Define and execute system-level test strategies to characterize functionality, performance, and interoperability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure robust design.

Requirements

• Strong background in systems engineering for complex electro-mechanical or software-enabled medical device systems.
• Experience with structured requirements management tools such as Polarion or Jama.
• Proven expertise in risk management for regulated products following ISO 14971 or equivalent.
• Expertise in system-level verification and validation (V&V), including test plan development and execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Must be based in or able to work in Galway, Ireland

• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience specifically with physiologic or patient monitoring systems.
