What you will do

• Tune large-scale PostgreSQL and MariaDB environments running on AWS.
• Develop automation using Python and Shell to replace manual operational tasks.
• Enhance platform performance, reliability, and observability.
• Manage infrastructure utilizing Docker, ECS, GitHub Actions, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
• Identify and remove technical debt to ensure system scalability.
• Contribute to the infrastructure supporting a new generation of AI-powered products.

Requirements

• Deep experience with large-scale AWS infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in tuning PostgreSQL and MariaDB environments.
• Strong proficiency in automation with Python and Shell.
• Experience with Docker, ECS, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Dublin, Ireland.
