DBA (Database Administration)

What you will do

• Manage and maintain customer database infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies for airline operations.
• Lead backup and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on database deployments and upgrades.
• Implement database security measures, including access controls, encryption, and aviation compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to customer stakeholders and maintain database documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional database administration experience.
• Strong production experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning, backup strategies, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with cloud databases such as AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with customer technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with aviation or airline software systems.
• Familiarity with data warehousing or big data platforms.
