TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS): Designing and maintaining scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems for aviation technology customers with an accent on Terraform, automation, security, and operational efficiency. Focus on improving observability, planning scalability and disaster recovery, and solving complex infrastructure issues within embedded engineering teams.
Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per month on-site at the customer's West London office

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based workflows for reliable software delivery.
- Lead infrastructure automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee cloud security, compliance, cost optimization, monitoring, logging, and observability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operations staff.
- Plan capacity, scalability, and disaster recovery with customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or cloud operations.
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform.
- Proficiency with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Experience designing and maintaining highly available, scalable cloud systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as an embedded member of a customer's technical organization.
- Availability to work on-site at the customer's West London office 3 days per month.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Background in aviation, aerospace, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code best practices and GitOps workflows.
