What you will do

• Evaluate and develop the finance operating model, implementing process improvements to support business needs.
• Lead month-end and year-end accounting, including revenue recognition, royalties, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, group cross-charging processes, and annual audits.
• Oversee outsourced payroll, pension providers, and accounts payable functions, including HMRC reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare forecasts, and submit VAT returns.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly group reporting and support budgeting and financial planning.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in independently managing month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of payroll, VAT, and wider financial compliance requirements.
• Experience preparing cash flow forecasts and supporting budgeting activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in the UK.
