What you will do

• Build and evolve user-facing applications for sustainability insights and emissions-related decision support.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and integrations for processing sustainability-related data.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Engineers, and Data Analysts to transform requirements into scalable digital products.
• Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to raising the engineering maturity of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive experience in both frontend and backend development for scalable web applications and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or other JVM-based technologies.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in designing REST APIs and working with relational databases.
• Experience working in Agile and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-native architectures, containerization, and Kubernetes-based platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar engineering toolchains.
• Experience building products in sustainability, ESG, climate, or regulatory domains.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and large-scale data processing pipelines.
