What you will do

• Oversee strategy, financial analysis, and benefit design for a dedicated block of business.
• Lead and mentor client service staff to ensure high levels of client retention and satisfaction.
• Develop sophisticated renewal strategies and solutions to address complex client issues.
• Manage carrier and vendor relationships to optimize benefits procurement and administration.
• Collaborate with account management on RFP distribution and open enrollment strategies.
• Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, Tax Code SEC 125, PPACA, and state regulations.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Syracuse, NY (Hybrid)
• 3+ years of experience in benefits consulting (5+ preferred).
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing staff (5+ preferred).
• Current life and health insurance license is required.
• In-depth knowledge of the insurance business and Health Care Reform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database applications.
