What you will do

• Lead the preparation and enhancement of monthly management accounts, KPI schedules, and Board materials.
• Deliver monthly variance analysis against budget and re-forecasts, explaining key business drivers.
• Manage group budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Build and maintain robust financial models for scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Partner with commercial and operational leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Improve ARR and revenue integrity by reconciling Salesforce data and establishing a clean source of truth.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 3–5 years post-qualified experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Solid grounding in management accounting, month-end, and accruals.
• Experience cleaning and validating large, complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership and the Board.
• Available at short notice for an interim engagement.

Nice to have

• SaaS experience and fluency in recurring-revenue metrics (ARR, retention, CAC, CLTV).
• Experience in PE/VC-backed, multi-entity, and multi-currency environments.
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Power BI, or similar data-visualisation tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, Databricks, or modern data stacks.
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude) to automate reporting and analysis.
