AI Engineer (Automotive)

TL;DR

AI Engineer (Automotive/Fintech): Designing, building and deploying AI-powered products and intelligent agents for automotive retailers with an accent on LLMs, RAG and AI workflows. Focus on automating business processes, creating exceptional customer experiences and implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the UK, specifically Sheffield or London). Right to work in the UK is required; no visa sponsorship is available.

What you will do

• Design, build and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent agents.
• Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate and evaluate LLMs including Claude, OpenAI and Gemini.
• Implement AI workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain.
• Build integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI tool-calling capabilities.
• Optimize AI performance and reliability while reducing hallucinations and monitoring production latency.

Requirements

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience building production AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Deep understanding of RAG, AI Agents and autonomous workflows.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Must already have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• Proficiency in Git and version control best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience working in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or automotive sectors.
