Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript/Java)

Location: Must be based in Poland and available to travel to the office in Łódź as needed.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and own features end-to-end from requirements through to production monitoring.
• Develop clean, maintainable code using TypeScript and JavaScript, and maintain backend services in Java/Kotlin.
• Integrate generative AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) into the daily development workflow.
• Own production deployments, incident resolution, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Contribute to system design and infrastructure planning for both cloud and on-premise solutions.
• Support the growth of mid-level engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, plus strong working knowledge of Java or Kotlin.
• Proven expertise in DevOps/SRE, including proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident resolution.
• Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and on-premise Kubernetes environments.
• Ability to design scalable distributed systems and articulate technical trade-offs.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
