TFSM IR EHS Environmental Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Leixlip, Ireland. Hybrid work model with time split between the hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: €59,200–€111,300.

What you will do

• Develop, coordinate, continuously improve, and manage site environmental programmes covering hazardous and non-hazardous waste, wastewater, air emissions, noise, refrigerants, groundwater, and management systems.
• Support compliance with the site’s Industrial Emissions Licence and ISO 14001 standard.
• Review compliance results and trends, maintain environmental management system elements, and support awareness, training, documentation, and improvement projects.
• Investigate environmental incidents, perform root cause analysis, and define corrective actions.
• Analyze EHS data, identify trends, and define focus areas for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Engineering teams while becoming a primary owner for environmental media programmes.

Requirements

• NFQ Level 8 qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
• At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and practice, including experience dealing with the EPA.
• Proficiency in data management and Excel, with the ability to present environmental data to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical experience with EHS management systems and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with wastewater management.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
