Production Planner

Location: Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium

What you will do

• Build and maintain weekly and daily production plans for assigned production lines.
• Analyze customer orders, raw material availability, and capacity constraints to create feasible production schedules.
• Monitor and adjust plans to manage disruptions, changing priorities, backorders, delays, and operational risks.
• Coordinate with production, customer service, procurement, and warehouse teams to align materials, capacity, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP, APO, and MES systems and follow up on master data quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence in planning processes.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related role.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear actions.
• Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Confident communication and stakeholder management across multiple functions.
• Good knowledge of Excel and familiarity with ERP or production planning systems.
• Fluent English and good working knowledge of Dutch and French required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP APO or a similar planning system.
