Software Engineer (Gen AI)

Location: Mountain View, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at the Mountain View HQ two days per week.

Salary: $181,000–$222,000 annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and ship agent-driven chatbots and GenAI workflows that deliver customer impact.
• Own features end to end, from definition and design through implementation, evaluation, and impact measurement.
• Use modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude-style assistants.
• Collaborate with product, ML, and engineering teams in a fast-moving, ownership-driven environment.
• Explore and improve engineering workflows for building software with AI agents.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and system design skills.
• Experience writing reliable, durable, and maintainable code.
• Proactive problem-solving, rapid lhirify.globalg, initiative, and a growth mindset.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States; candidates working under OPT or CPT are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with GenAI and agent-based systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or LLMs.
