TL;DR

Sales Engineer (Cloud Security): Partnering with sales executives to provide technical expertise and support during the evaluation and onboarding of cloud security solutions with an accent on technical presentations and POC management. Focus on driving revenue targets, architecting solutions for prospective customers, and acting as a subject matter expert for the Orca Cloud Solution.

Location: Must be based in the West Coast, US (Remote/Hybrid).

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 base + $50,000–$75,000 commission.

What you will do

  • Provide pre-sales technical support and manage the POC process for the Orca Cloud Security solution.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations to potential customers, focusing on value-driven dialogue.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Sales team to develop and implement winning sales strategies.
  • Conduct technical working sessions to architect solutions for complex business problems.
  • Maintain CRM records and stay updated on product releases and company methodologies.
  • Support vendor-sponsored events, trade shows, and user group meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the West Coast, US.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering role.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud security sales engineering or related technical fields.
  • Strong ability to manage a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Passion for technology, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with CSPM or Vulnerability Management solutions.
