Software Development Manager (Network Capacity Services): Leading a team of engineers to build foundational network services for the Software Defined Networking (SDN) ecosystem with an accent on closed-loop reservation systems and network automation. Focus on designing scalable distributed systems, bridging network and software engineering disciplines, and enabling self-managed network infrastructure.

Location: Must be based in Dublin, Ireland

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of highly motivated software developers.
  • Design and own a closed-loop system for network entity reservation.
  • Bridge network engineering and software engineering disciplines to solve complex infrastructure problems.
  • Build large-scale distributed software systems using Java, Python, and proprietary technologies.
  • Partner with product and program management teams to define and deliver multi-tier web services.
  • Collaborate across AWS to ensure high standards of safety, security, and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland.
  • Proven experience in engineering team management.
  • Strong background in full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
  • Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with product and program management teams.
