Power Management Firmware Development Team Lead

Location: Haifa, Israel; hybrid work model with 4 days onsite and off-site work

Development of client SoC power management firmware within the Client PM Firmware Group.

What you will do

• Architect and develop embedded C++ firmware for power regulation, dynamic voltage scaling, voltage and current management, and ultra-low-power sleep states.
• Lead, mentor, and conduct code reviews for a team of firmware engineers.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team effectiveness.
• Define hardware/firmware interfaces and flows with silicon architecture and RTL design teams.
• Drive power profiling, latency optimization, and firmware stability across bare-metal environments.
• Enhance unit testing and system simulation frameworks for power management features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional embedded firmware development experience using C and C++.
• At least 2 years of experience leading engineering projects, mentoring junior developers, or directly managing engineering personnel.
• In-depth knowledge of embedded system mitigations, including RTOS.
• Hands-on experience writing bare-metal firmware for ARM or Xtensa CPUs.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of power management and state transitions.
• Experience with low-level firmware development and collaboration with hardware teams.
