Power Management Firmware Development Team Lead (C++)

Location: Haifa, Israel; hybrid model with 4 days onsite

What you will do

• Architect and develop embedded C++ firmware for power regulation, dynamic voltage scaling, voltage and current management, and ultra-low-power sleep states.
• Lead end-to-end power management feature development for Intel Client SoCs.
• Use AI-driven flows and agents to accelerate architecture, development, debugging, analysis, and validation coverage closure.
• Lead, mentor, and conduct code reviews for a specialized firmware engineering team.
• Partner with SoC architecture, hardware, RTL design, and validation teams to define hardware/firmware interfaces and flows.
• Drive power profiling, latency optimization, firmware stability, unit testing, and system simulation improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional embedded firmware development experience using C and C++.
• At least 2 years of experience leading engineering projects, mentoring developers, or directly managing engineering personnel.
• In-depth knowledge of embedded systems and RTOS.
• Hands-on experience writing bare-metal firmware for ARM or Xtensa CPUs.
• Strong understanding of power management, state transitions, low-level firmware development, and collaboration with hardware teams.
