TL;DR

Partner Director (AI): Scaling OpenAI's go-to-market partnership strategy with key data platform providers like Snowflake and Databricks with an accent on field enablement, co-sell execution, and operational rigor. Location: Must be based in San Francisco (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office). Relocation assistance provided.

Compensation: $340,000 – $420,000 + Equity

What you will do

  • Build trusted relationships with partner account executives, solution engineers, and leadership teams to drive mindshare.
  • Enable partner field organizations on OpenAI positioning, AI use cases, and effective engagement throughout the sales cycle.
  • Own the in-market operating relationship, including account mapping, joint planning, and opportunity coordination.
  • Develop repeatable sales plays, enablement assets, and joint messaging to accelerate OpenAI opportunities.
  • Aggregate structured feedback from partners and customers to inform product and GTM strategy.
  • Represent OpenAI with executive presence in high-stakes commercial and strategic conversations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, ecosystem sales, or business development within SaaS, cloud, or AI companies.
  • Meaningful experience working with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar enterprise data platforms.
  • Proven track record of driving measurable revenue through partnerships.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise opportunities alongside direct sales teams.
  • Strong technical fluency across enterprise AI, data platforms, and modern analytics architectures.
  • Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
