Immunology Senior Research Scientist (Flow Cytometry)

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA

Salary: $124,200 - $186,400

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute high-parameter flow cytometry assays for discovery and translational research.
• Lead multicolor immunophenotyping panel design and advanced data analysis strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate cellular, transcriptomic, and proteomic datasets.
• Analyze complex cytometry data to provide actionable biological insights and support program decision-making.
• Mentor junior team members and serve as a technical resource for flow cytometry best practices.
• Independently manage cytometry workstreams across multiple research programs.

Requirements

• PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience, or equivalent Master's/Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
• Deep expertise in flow cytometry principles, instrumentation, and assay development.
• Strong understanding of immune profiling and cellular phenotyping.
• Experience designing and optimizing high-parameter or multicolor flow cytometry panels.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must be able to work on-site five days per week in Seattle, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience with spectral flow cytometry and cell sorting platforms.
• Proficiency in R or Python for data analysis.
• Experience with primary human samples and translational research.
• Background in immunology and inflammation disease areas.
