Salary: $124,200 - $186,400

What you will do

• Design and execute spatial transcriptomics studies to address key biological questions in disease-relevant tissues.
• Characterize tissue architecture, cellular microenvironments, and cell-cell interactions.
• Integrate spatial transcriptomics data with single-cell RNA-seq, proteomics, and imaging datasets.
• Develop and validate robust workflows for sample preparation, assay execution, and quality control.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in disease biology, pharmacology, and bioinformatics to inform program strategy.
• Mentor junior scientists and contribute to establishing best practices for spatial biology.

Requirements

• PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience (or equivalent Master's/Bachelor's degree with relevant experience).
• Deep expertise in spatial transcriptomics and tissue-based molecular profiling.
• Proficiency in R and/or Python for spatial data analysis and visualization.
• Experience with fresh frozen and FFPE tissue processing and assay optimization.
• Strong understanding of transcriptomics, RNA biology, and cellular heterogeneity.
• Must be able to work on-site in Seattle, WA, five days per week.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with platforms like 10x Genomics Visium or Nanostring CosMx.
• Experience with histology, immunofluorescence, and multiplexed tissue profiling.
• Background in drug discovery, translational research, or clinical biomarker development.
• Knowledge of spatial proteomics or broader tissue-based profiling approaches.
