Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 base pay

What you will do

  • Support Senior Benefits Consultant and Account Manager with day-to-day management of an assigned book of business.
  • Serve as a secondary point of contact for benefit-related service needs and provide advisory support for day-to-day client issues.
  • Review accuracy of internal service team outputs (e.g., SPR, Open Enrollment materials, mid-year education campaigns).
  • Support the renewal process with Senior Benefits Consultant.
  • Review insurance contracts and benefit summaries to ensure accuracy of sold plans.
  • Complete client compliance checklists, including items such as 5500 filing, SBC distribution, and SPD wrap documents (as applicable).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a broker agency or benefit administration firm.
  • Current Life and Health license.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and ancillary products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work with clients at a strategic level and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
