Premium Auditor (Insurance)

Location: Raleigh, NC; local candidates only. Work from home with required travel to policyholders within a limited territory.

Compensation: $44–$50 per billable hour, plus a production bonus paid weekly; earning potential of $75k+.

What you will do

• Conduct premium audits for Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Garage, and Auto policies.
• Review business financial records and apply established audit standards.
• Schedule and perform on-site audits within the assigned local territory.
• Communicate with policyholders to collect required documentation.
• Identify discrepancies, assess potential fraud, and verify regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit audit reports.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years of premium audit experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; Visual Audit and Nexus Audit experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Personal auto insurance meeting the stated minimum bodily injury coverage requirements.
