What you will do

• Lead the implementation of Optical Transport Networks within agreed lead times.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and service turn-up of optical transmission equipment.
• Perform DWDM link and EoL platform migrations in coordination with onsite technicians.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on network expansion and optimization.
• Provide logistics coordination for equipment shipments between warehouses and deployment sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation and network inventory systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a telecommunications company covering Plan, Build, and Operate functions.
• Proven expertise as a DWDM Network Engineer.
• Extensive configuration experience with Infinera, Nokia, and Ciena platforms.
• Experience guiding onsite technicians remotely during installations and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of fibre infrastructure, cable routing, and ODF connectivity.
• Must be based in Mexico City for hybrid operations.
