Application Engineer (LC-MS)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; remote work is available. Travel is required 75% of the time, including access to customer sites.

What you will do

• Provide scientific and technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including customer requirements analysis, sample analysis, demonstrations, benchmarks, and technical presentations.
• Support implementation and execution of instrument applications and solutions in customer environments.
• Deliver customer training and provide remote and on-site troubleshooting.
• Analyze customer problems, recommend suitable solutions, and support customer satisfaction.
• Integrate hirify.global products and applications while ensuring they function according to specifications.
• Coordinate with sales partners, management, R&D, and product marketing, and document post-sales support inquiries according to quality and regulatory policies.

Requirements

• Mandatory experience with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS).
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent; postgraduate education, certification, or licensing may be required.
• Typically 1–2+ years of relevant applications experience.
• Experience in customer training, strong verbal communication skills, and confident presentation ability.
• Consent to and compliance with hirify.global-approved customer and vendor credentialing requirements for access to customer sites.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of gas chromatography or gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
• Experience presenting at conferences, seminars, or e-seminars.
