Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, United States. West Coast/Bay Area alignment is preferred.

Salary: $250K–$270K annually.

hirify.global builds an API and AI connectivity platform for securing, managing, accelerating, governing, and monetizing API and AI traffic.

What you will do

• Architect and own full-stack marketplace surfaces, high-performance tools, REST APIs, and developer onboarding systems.
• Design agent-native user experiences with Model Context Protocol servers, sandboxed test environments, and CLI/SDK generation workflows.
• Build reliable infrastructure for programmatic identity verification, usage attribution, metering, billing, and multi-party settlement.
• Integrate marketplace capabilities with gateway runtime, security plugins, and global engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews, prevent distributed-system scaling bottlenecks, and maintain low technical debt.
• Mentor engineers and define technical milestones, specifications, and engineering documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience engineering enterprise-grade production software and complex distributed systems.
• Master-level expertise with Golang or similar systems languages, API infrastructure, Kubernetes, and cloud-native patterns.
• Hands-on experience building autonomous agent applications, tool-calling systems, prompt loops, or machine-consumable systems.
• Experience with multi-tenant architectures, usage-based metering, billing integrations, or secure data exchange layers.
• Strong written communication and technical articulation skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid San Francisco role; West Coast/Bay Area alignment is preferred.
