What you will do

• Run day-to-day operations, availability, and continuous improvement of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud services, and technology operations.
• Administer 24x7 production infrastructure including Windows Server, Hyper-V, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, SAN/storage, disaster recovery, and datacenter operations.
• Manage enterprise networking and telecommunications: switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless, firewalls, internet connectivity, and VoIP (ShoreTel/Mitel) with SIP trunking.
• Administer Microsoft Cloud Services: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra (Hybrid), Intune, Microsoft Defender, Azure, Exchange Hybrid, identity and endpoint management, and licensing.
• Lead helpdesk operations and resolve hardware, software, network, and user access issues; maintain operational documentation and standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical production issues outside normal business hours.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience administering enterprise Microsoft infrastructure in a production environment, including at least 3 years in a senior systems/infrastructure/IT management role.
• Extensive experience supporting 24x7 on-premises and hybrid Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, Hyper-V, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, SAN, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, datacenter operations, and web application hosting).
• Extensive experience with Hybrid Microsoft Identity and Microsoft Cloud Services (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Exchange Hybrid, Azure, Intune, Defender, Conditional Access, endpoint management, identity sync, and cloud administration).
• Experience administering enterprise networking/telecom infrastructure (Layer 2 switching, VLANs, VPNs, wireless, Palo Alto NGFW, SIP trunking, and ShoreTel/Mitel VoIP or comparable platforms).
• Strong cybersecurity and infrastructure lifecycle knowledge (vulnerability remediation, patch management, endpoint protection, asset management, business continuity, and hardening).
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical issues outside normal business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience planning and executing cloud migration initiatives to Microsoft Azure.
• Experience modernizing Microsoft IIS/.NET applications using containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
• Experience with enterprise cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, and security governance in regulated environments.
