What you will do
- Build, coach, and manage a team of SMB Account Executives focused on law firms and corporate legal departments.
- Own territory planning, pipeline development, and accurate forecasting to meet revenue targets.
- Drive a disciplined sales process using methodologies like MEDDPIC to ensure high-quality discovery and closing.
- Establish a local operating cadence including team standups and deal reviews.
- Act as a player-coach by engaging in strategic deals and modeling best practices in discovery and negotiation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of tech sales experience, ideally closing new business at the Mid Market or Enterprise level.
- 2+ years of people management experience training and coaching high-performing sales teams.
- Proven track record of selling complex software solutions using consultative, value-based methodologies.
- Experience operating in an early-stage, high-growth environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Must be based in Chicago to lead the local team.
