Accounts Receivable Specialist (Finance)

What you will do

• Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
• Process and accurately allocate incoming payments, including checks, ACH transfers, wire transfers, and credit cards.
• Maintain customer master data, onboard new customers, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Track accounts receivable KPIs and portfolio aging, prepare reports, and provide decision-support insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, accuracy, and performance of accounts receivable operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Ability to manage a minimum portfolio of 200 accounts for credit control.
• Familiarity with AP automation tools and portals such as Coupa or Ariba, plus data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Advanced English skills required. Strong communication abilities, customer focus, and knowledge of data security and privacy best practices are also required.
