What you will do

• Design and build core architecture for AI systems spanning multiple product areas.
• Set technical standards for evaluation frameworks, testing, and shared infrastructure.
• Take direct ownership of the most ambiguous technical problems without established playbooks.
• Build and ship conversational agents, deep learning models, and personalization systems.
• Improve AI/ML services to drive behavior change and metabolic health outcomes.
• Raise the technical level of the team through code and design reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience developing AI and Machine Learning systems in production.
• Must be based in the U.S. and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Proven experience setting technical direction and engineering standards at an organizational level.
• Deep expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and iterative AI evals.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including testing, CI/CD, and system design.
• Proficiency in Python and experience defining engineering best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Voice AI or specialized Language Models (VLMs, multi-modal).
