TL;DR

AI Engineer (GenAI): Designing and delivering AI-based solutions for a web-based workflow application for the Federal Government with an accent on agentic workflows and RAG pipelines. Focus on building production-ready agentic solutions, implementing LLM observability, and integrating advanced AI tools to increase productivity and user experience.

Location: Remote (USA). Must be able to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the client level.

Salary: $100,000 – $125,000

What you will do

• Design and develop AI-enabled features for web-based workflow applications using LLMs and GenAI.
• Build RAG pipelines utilizing application data, policy documents, and business process publications.
• Implement agentic workflows using orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Agno, or CrewAI.
• Architect full-stack AI features with reliable API integrations, error handling, and graceful degradation.
• Establish LLM observability for cost, latency, and quality, implementing responsible AI guardrails.
• Maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, Python, and Java.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain access to classified information.
• 5+ years of experience with software implementation across all aspects of the SDLC.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience developing generative AI and LLM-powered applications.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience with RAG architectures, agentic patterns, and vector databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases like OpenSearch or pgvector and embedding models.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI Service.
• Master's degree in a relevant STEM field.
