Specialist, Ethics and Compliance (Privacy)

Location: Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada; travel may be required

What you will do

• Support the development, implementation, review, and documentation of global ethics and compliance programs.
• Advise managers and employees on anti-corruption, competition, privacy, human rights, and related legal and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to risk-based due diligence for third parties and business partners.
• Coordinate compliance training, onboarding, Code of Business Conduct certification, and related initiatives with HR.
• Support monitoring processes, internal reporting, whistleblowing, and internal investigations.
• Document policy exceptions and alleged violations, and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of ethics and compliance experience in an international corporate environment.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English, with strong writing skills.
• Experience designing and implementing compliance programs and simplifying systems and controls.

Nice to have

• Certificate in ethics and compliance from a reputable institution.
• Experience conducting internal investigations.
