What you will do
- Design and execute analytical chemistry experiments for water quality technologies, reagents, and sensors.
- Develop and validate targeted LC-MS/MS methods for trace-level detection of PFAS and emerging contaminants.
- Optimize ionization, source conditions, and MRM transitions on SCIEX triple quadrupole systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management to transition technologies from concept to commercialization.
- Generate technical reports, validation summaries, and contribute to invention disclosures and patents.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior scientists and technicians.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Loveland, Colorado, USA.
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with SCIEX triple quadrupole LC-MS/MS systems for quantitative analysis.
- Proven expertise in MRM method development and optimization.
- Proficiency using SCIEX Analyst® and/or MultiQuant™ software.
Nice to have
- Experience with PFAS or environmental contaminant analysis.
- Familiarity with EPA methods for water analysis.
- Experience optimizing SPE workflows.
- Experience supporting commercialization of analytical instrumentation platforms.
