What you will do

• Design and maintain automated processes for provisioning data workspaces across PreProd and Prod environments.
• Implement linked services, mount points, and catalog configurations within Databricks and the VHA Data Lake.
• Manage automated data warehouse access provisioning and integrate with VA Cloud Data Warehouse (CDW) systems.
• Provide white-glove customer success, including onboarding sessions, office hours, and technical documentation.
• Develop migration guidance and self-service resources to accelerate adoption of modern data platforms.
• Ensure strict compliance with federal security, governance, and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, business analysis, or similar roles.
• Strong expertise in Databricks and Azure data services (workspace administration, catalog creation, storage mounts).
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and managing identity and access management (IAM/RBAC).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with PowerBi, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of data governance and security within healthcare or federal environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or SharePoint for change management.
