What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and automation processes using federally compliant tools.
• Supervise and provide technical direction to a team of Data Analysts and Visualization Specialists.
• Integrate data from federal systems (HSES, AMS, GrantSolutions, TTA Hub) into operational and analytical tools.
• Develop data products, dashboards, and automated reports to support grants management and leadership decision-making.
• Maintain workflow and task tracking solutions, specifically Smartsheet-based tools.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance in alignment with federal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or data management.
• 3+ years of supervisory or technical team leadership experience.
• 3+ years of experience with ETL processes, database design, and data pipelines.
• US government issued security clearance required (initiated upon hire).
• 1+ years of experience in early childhood education or Head Start programs.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with AI or advanced analytics in data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
