What you will do

• Serve as the regional trade compliance lead for Brazil with scalable support for other LATAM countries.
• Design and implement regional trade compliance frameworks and controls aligned with global policies.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customs, import/export, and trade governance matters.
• Oversee customs broker relationships, performance expectations, and operational guidelines.
• Manage official communications with customs and regulatory authorities, including legal inquiries and administrative proceedings.
• Lead AEO/OEA trade security program activities and support internal/external audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, Logistics, Finance, Law, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in international trade compliance, customs, or import/export operations.
• Fluent English and Portuguese required; Spanish capability preferred.
• Strong expertise in customs regulations, export controls, and trade security frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder issues under tight deadlines.
• Experience with SAP GTS, SAP S/4HANA, and structured data management tools.

Nice to have

• Licensed customs broker status or relevant industry certification.
• Experience with duty drawback, suspension, and exemption programs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint for documentation control.
