What you will do

• Manage full-scope Brazil logistics including customs clearance, logistics providers, certification, and warehouse coordination.
• Own relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and carriers, including tariff and service level negotiations.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new logistics and customs partners on an ongoing basis.
• Build and refine operational processes based on hands-on analysis of performance data.
• Track delivery performance and benchmark contracted rates against the market for continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop the local logistics and customs team.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing international logistics operations.
• End-to-end expertise in customs clearance operations.
• Proven track record of leading and developing operational logistics teams.
• Experience in finding new logistics partners and negotiating contracts.
• Fluent English and Portuguese.
• Ability to operate across day-to-day operational details and high-level strategy.

Nice to have

• Background in a retail company importing from China, a logistics/customs service provider, or a Comex company.
• Familiarity with Brazilian import modalities such as Importação por Encomenda and Importação por Conta e Ordem.
