Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Remote in LATAM, including Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, and Argentina. Work within one hour of US Eastern Time, with an 8:45 AM ET daily standup.

Salary: $1,000–$1,500 USD per month, based on experience.

What you will do

• Clean, structure, normalize, and validate supplier, product, and quantity data in Microsoft Excel.
• Build and maintain sourcing-event data models using replicable, formula-based methods.
• Sanity-check data quality and compare extracted information against source documents.
• Contact existing US-based suppliers by phone and email to maintain engagement with the platform.
• Own the operational execution and communication for client accounts, working toward independent account ownership within 90 days.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of professional Microsoft Excel experience, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and IF formulas.
• Experience cleaning, normalizing, and validating datasets without hard-coded values.
• Experience building structured Excel models that other users can follow.
• Professional experience conducting outbound calls to US-based suppliers, vendors, or business contacts.
• C1+ English, spoken and written, is required for direct phone communication with US-based suppliers.
• Must be located in LATAM and able to work within one hour of US Eastern Time.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of management consulting or boutique advisory experience.
• Procurement or supply chain experience.
• Python experience for data manipulation or automation.
• Exposure to e-procurement or sourcing platforms.
