Location: San Jose, California, United States. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Annual salary: $123,200–$228,800 in California, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Configure and support technical presales for high-speed interface IP, including PCIe, CXL, and Ethernet PHYs and controllers.
• Present the IP portfolio and capabilities to prospective customers.
• Act as a product expert for digital controller and PHY IPs and related protocols.
• Collaborate with IP sales, marketing, and R&D teams to win customer opportunities.
• Demonstrate IP performance at industry events and for prospective customers.
• Provide rapid technical support and create application notes and technical articles.

Requirements

• BS in EE, CE, or a related field with 15+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of one or more high-speed interface protocols: PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet, USB, MIPI, 224G, or 112G.
• Strong knowledge of PHYs and/or controllers for high-speed interface protocols.
• Leadership and initiative in managing presales accounts.
• Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Lab validation and demonstration setup experience.
• Experience with high-speed interface controller or PHY verification.
• Knowledge of AXI and PIPE interface protocols.
• Working knowledge of high-speed interface PHYs.
