IT Engineer

TL;DR

IT Engineer (Okta/MDM/AI workflows): Own identity and endpoint systems (Okta, SCIM, MDM, Iru, 1Password, Slack) and build AI-powered self-service workflows that automate recurring operations. Focus on scaling secure access, SOC2/HIPAA compliance evidence, and audit-logged automation so infrastructure becomes a force multiplier instead of a bottleneck.

Location: New York, NY (in-person; commutable to NYC headquarters; in-office 3–4 days/week with required attendance Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Architect Okta identity lifecycle using group rules, SCIM, and Expression Language to move access without manual touch
• Own the Iru-managed endpoint fleet end-to-end, from zero-touch provisioning through offboarding
• Build AI-powered self-service workflows (including Claude Enterprise) to deflect requests before they reach a human
• Automate recurring workflows into scripted, audit-logged processes that scale
• Maintain SOC2 and HIPAA compliance by owning access reviews and deprovisioning evidence
• Partner with People and functional leaders to identify where AI can accelerate onboarding and document the source of truth in Slite

Requirements

• 3+ years in IT engineering with identity or endpoint systems ownership or strong hands-on exposure
• Experience rebuilding workflows with AI: identify repeatable work, automate it, and redirect effort to judgment-intensive tasks
• Okta experience across group rules, SCIM, or Expression Language (ownership or working exposure)
• Exposure to MDM policy and macOS endpoint lifecycle, with readiness to grow into full ownership
• Familiarity with least-privilege controls and/or audit evidence for SOC2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks
• Must be commutable to NYC headquarters and work in an in-person environment (required attendance Tuesdays and Thursdays)
