Senior Manager, Product Data Governance & Lifecycle Management (MedTech)

Location: Remote, United States; Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Annual salary: $135,000–$175,000

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional governance for product data standards, configuration management, document control, PLM, and engineering change management.
• Own governance frameworks for item master data, bills of material, product structures, configurations, controlled documents, and lifecycle states.
• Develop and execute the PLM strategy and roadmap with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT.
• Govern PLM platforms, including administration, workflows, integrations, validation, enhancements, adoption, and system effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate and consistent product data across PLM, Oracle ERP, CAD, and related systems.
• Lead distributed teams, continuous improvement initiatives, training, change management, audits, inspections, and resolution of complex product data issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in product development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, product data governance, configuration management, or PLM leadership in medical devices or other regulated industries.
• 5+ years of team management experience; experience managing managers is preferred.
• Direct experience with PLM systems and processes, including product structures, configuration management, engineering change control, and controlled documentation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Oracle Cloud PLM and ERP is preferred.
• Experience with FDA inspections, ISO audits, quality systems, design controls, process transformation, and data-driven KPI improvement is preferred.

• Experience implementing or upgrading enterprise PLM systems.
• Experience supporting regulated product lifecycle processes and manufacturing transfers.
• Experience managing managers.
