What you will do

• Execute global payroll administration and process full-cycle operations for domestic and international employees.
• Design scalable and efficient payroll processes and optimize system configurations to improve employee experience.
• Ensure payroll tax and state registration compliance for a remote workforce.
• Manage documentation, recordkeeping, and accounting for payroll and equity transactions, including audit support.
• Partner with Leave Administrators to ensure consistent computation of pay and supplemental benefits.
• Assist in designing fit-for-purpose controls to support planned SOX readiness initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of payroll operations experience, ideally within a high-growth tech company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency with HRIS solutions such as NetSuite, Workday, and ADP.
• Strong understanding of payroll tax, benefits support, and equity platforms.
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation and establish credibility through proactive problem-solving.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and capable of operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Experience in the Software or Life Science industries.
