What you will do

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payrolls for 50–500 employees.
• Validate time entries, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Post payroll transactions into accounting systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
• Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll taxes.
• Reconcile payroll clearing accounts, bank statements, and benefits contributions.
• Generate payroll reports and support audits with detailed documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ADP, Paychex, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, or BambooHR.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Must be based in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Costa Rica.
• Ability to work remotely aligned with U.S. time zones.

Nice to have

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
• Experience with multi-state or international payroll.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll integrations like BambooHR, Zenefits, or Workday.
