CS Strategy & Operations Lead (SaaS): Building and scaling the usage and renewal operations program from the ground up with an accent on customer health metrics, renewal forecasting, and actionable data insights. Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week in-office in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle
Salary: $132,000–$170,500

What you will do
- Own metrics and reporting for consumption, utilization, and renewal trends across the commercial business.
- Build early-warning systems for usage drops and adoption friction to enable proactive CSM intervention.
- Lead the renewal and contraction forecasting cadence, providing leadership with actionable insights.
- Partner with Data Engineering to optimize customer and usage data flows into CS tooling.
- Use AI and automation to scale reporting, deepen analysis, and improve operational efficiency.
- Brief executive teams on renewal priorities, segments, and value signals to inform product and GTM strategy.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Revenue or Customer Success strategy, operations, or management consulting.
- Direct experience with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models and analytics.
- Strong grasp of retention economics including NRR, GRR, and renewal forecasting.
- Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and Tableau, with SQL or Python skills for large datasets.
- Comfortable using AI tools like Claude, Gemini, or Glean to accelerate analysis and reporting.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle.
