TL;DR

What you will do

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads using proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments and deliver product demonstrations to agency decision-makers.
  • Apply Challenger Sale principles to tailor conversations and take control of the sales process.
  • Negotiate and close deals while fostering long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to align messaging.
  • Attend in-person client meetings, industry events, and tradeshows as required.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Must successfully obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability security clearance.
  • Must pass a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check for CJIS compliance.
  • 2–3+ years of proven sales experience in SaaS technology, preferably in the public safety sector.
  • Deep understanding of government procurement processes and complex buying cycles.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory up to 20–40% of the time.
